What are some upscales spas in the Chicago area?

My friend and I are looking for a spa, and we would like an upscale (NON- medical) spa. It doesn't matter if it's a day spa or a weekend spa. And recomandations would be nice.

lulaBELLA333 – almost all of the hair salons in the downtown, loop, northside, gold coast and lakeview areas call themselves 'spas' and offer hair styling, manicures/pedicures, facials, etc.
For starters, the Macy's stores downtown (State Steet and Water Tower Place) have a Kiva Salon – you can make an appointment for a spa day or just walk in.
There are MANY salons in the gold coast area and several long established ones on Oak Street. including 54 East Oak (Channings Day Spa – 20 years) and 65 East Oak (Salon O).
My favorite day spa is Michael Anthony at Ohio/State (621 North State). There is another location at 1001 North Avenue.
For a quality spa experience (at very reasonable rates) you can try the Aveda salon school at Century Mall (Clark/Diversy). The students (under the guidance of their instructors) do EXCELLENT work, but they can be a little SLOW.

Channing's Day Spa at 54 E Oak or Blueberry Moon Aveda at 2108 N Halsted Street could be possible spots for you and your friend.
Aroma Massage Day Spa at 3807 N Ashland Av has reasonable prices according to one reviewer.
Waves Spa at 211 N Stetson Ave is yet another.

Kiva Spa , 196 E. Pearson, 312-840-8120. Trendy urban spa named for the sacred space of ancient Southwestern Indians.
Tiffani Kim Institute, 310 W. Superior St. 312-943-8777. Medical spa with everything from ******* and massage to Botox and laser hair removal.
Tirra , 375 West Erie, 312-951-8255. An Aveda Salon Spa set in a spacious loft in the trendy River North neighborhood. Trendy and urban.
Red Door Salon Spa , 919 N. Michigan Ave., 312-988-9191. Classic and reliable, for the more conservative set.
